Our company, Tapanese.com Pty Ltd is based in Nelson Bay and currently runs four different local businesses in the area.

We have been involved in helping to promote local business and find ways of rewarding the locals who like to support local, for over 25 years now.

Running our own separate businesses means that we appreciate the local support, as without the locals, businesses will struggle to survive during the quieter times.

Our philosophy is to keep things as simple as possible, minimise wastage and work as groups, rather than as a stand alone.

Shopping centres do it very well, promoting lots of businesses in one area, however local independent business promotion remains fragmented.

This is why we have created a 'My Local Card' promotional vehicle.

Its purpose is to bring shops and businesses together, so they can have one promotional presence, rather than each individual business trying to grab your attention.
